It's safe to say Melissa has been working in the food and wine industry for more than half her life. Previously the owner and creator of Dots in Lincolnville, Maine, Melissa is very happy to now own and operate such a legendary catering company and market in Portland's West End. Melissa has a passion for all things wine, and loves learning about, and tasting, new varieties. She loves how food and wine go hand in hand, as well as the power food has to bring people together. Melissa adds leadership, guidance and creativity to the Aurora team and her favorite thing to eat at Aurora are the delicious short-ribs.

Elizabeth (LIZ) Koenigsberg
general manager & Catering director
After owning Petite Jacqueline of Portland, Maine for six years, Liz is now Aurora's fantastic General Manager and Catering Director. Liz has previously managed restaurants such as 555 Restaurant, also in Portland, Maine and Tamayo Modern Mexican Kitchen and Tequileria out of Denver, Colorado. Liz loves connecting and interacting with her clients and brings attention to detail, developed knowledge of food and beverages, as well as strong communication skills to the Aurora team. Liz's favorite thing to eat at Aurora is the green curry chicken soup.

Having worked at Aurora Provisions for thirteen years now, Josh has over twenty years of experience catering for high end restaurants in cities such as New York City, San Francisco and London. Josh is a self-taught chef who loves working and interacting with the local farmers who supply Aurora with produce and meat, while also creating an experience for Aurora's customers, from beginning to end. Josh adds passion, creativity and a sense of levity to the Aurora team. His favorite thing to eat at Aurora are Bob's sea salt chocolate chip cookies, while his favorite things to cook include a hearty soup in the winter, a lightly herbed vegetable in the spring and ratatouille in the summer.

Director of Corporate Catering & Events
While technically a new full time employee, Imogene has been catering with Aurora for years. With previous work experience running and operating high end food festivals from Florida to Maine, Imogene (or Impy) has years of work experience when it comes to sales, marketing and sponsorship in the catering and food festival industry. Imogene adds positivity, a can-do attitude and drive (as well as the worlds best smile) to the Aurora team. Imogene's favorite thing to eat at Aurora is the classic reuben.

Event assistant & Marketing Associate
Hannah is Aurora's newest employee. She graduated from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont in May of 2017, and is skilled in public relations, marketing, event coordination and graphic design. With a history of working for small non-profits and local businesses, she is very exited to be a part of the Aurora team. Hannah loves connecting with new people and using social media as a tool in which to interact, promote and engage with others. She adds creativity, positivity, and determination to the Aurora team and her favorite thing to eat at Aurora is the turkey and cranberry sandwich...and of course the raspberry scones.
